I am an AI Research Scientist at Meta, where I work on personalized AGI - building AI systems that deeply understand individual users and adapt to their unique preferences, context, and goals. Previously, I was a Principal Machine Learning Scientist at TikTok (2023 - 2026), where I led the development of large-scale recommendation systems for the core feed, powering personalized content discovery on TikTok ForU page.

Before joining industry, I received my PhD degree in Department of Computer Science at University of Chicago. I work in SAND Lab, co-advised by Prof. Ben Y. Zhao and Prof. Heather Zheng. I received my Bachelor's degree from School of Computer science, Fudan University in June, 2017. My research interests are generally security and privacy issues in Machine Learning especially Deep Learning. I am also interested in security and privacy of Networks and Systems such as Internet of Things (IoT).

I am a recipient of Facebook Fellowship (2020), ACM CHI Honorable Mention Award (2020), and Siebel Scholarship (class of 2021). I spent my summer with the Security + AI SIP Group @ Microsoft Research in 2020. I interned with the AI Security Team @ Meta in summer 2022.
